Mainder vs Recruitee: AI that finds candidates or AI that reads them

Recruitee builds the best careers page in this comparison and reaches 2,900+ job boards, and neither of those is our strong suit. Where the two products split is direction. Recruitee's AI works on the applications you already received. Mainder's AI works outside your database, on people who never applied. Their sourcing is a browser extension for manual capture, and it excludes LinkedIn, because LinkedIn blocked third party extraction and Recruitee says so in its own support docs.

Trusted by +300 recruiting teams across 14 countries, 53,520+ candidates processed.

Mainder vs Recruitee at a glance: if you compete on employer brand and want the strongest careers site and the widest board distribution, Recruitee wins on both and it is not close. If your problem is that the right people are not applying, an inbound first product with no LinkedIn reach will not solve it. The billing shape matters too: Recruitee bills on plan plus your company headcount, which is a number with nothing to do with how much you recruit.

Which one fits your team?

Choose Mainder if you...

  • Need to reach people who have not applied, and specifically on LinkedIn, where their extension no longer reaches.
  • Are an agency: their bill scales with your headcount, which has nothing to do with how much you recruit.
  • Hire in Spanish and need that confirmed rather than assumed.
  • Want AI that finds candidates rather than AI that helps you read the ones who arrived.
  • Are wiring recruiting into LLM agents through MCP.

Choose Recruitee (Tellent) if you...

  • Compete on employer brand and want the best careers page in this comparison without writing code.
  • Need the widest possible job board distribution.
  • Have a legal team that wants EU hosting and ISO 27001 documented down to the data centre.
  • Want GDPR consent and deletion solved as product features rather than as process.

Common questions

Can Recruitee source candidates from LinkedIn?

No. Recruitee's sourcing extension covers Dribbble, GitHub, Stack Exchange, Stack Overflow and Xing. LinkedIn is excluded because LinkedIn blocked third party extraction, and Recruitee states this in its own support documentation. If LinkedIn is where your candidates are, this is the single most important line in the comparison.

What does Recruitee's AI actually do?

It works on candidates you already have. Screening Assistant scores incoming applications, Matching Assistant surfaces fits from your existing database, and there are drafting tools for job ads and rejection emails. Their own page describes the AI as a decision aid rather than something that decides. It does not go out and find new people.

Which has the better careers page, Mainder or Recruitee?

Recruitee, and it is not close. CareersHub gives you a no code builder on your own domain with templates, draggable sections, built in SEO, Google for Jobs syndication, smart translations and analytics. Mainder offers a multi tenant Career Site per brand or client, which is the right shape for agencies but not a match for CareersHub on depth.

Is Recruitee data hosted in the EU?

Yes, all of it. Google Cloud in Frankfurt and Berlin, AWS in Frankfurt, and Ireland only for video responses, with ISO 27001 certification. Their GDPR tooling is also unusually thorough: consent management, withdrawal, automated deletion, portability and rectification are product features rather than manual processes.

Mainder or Recruitee for a recruiting agency?

Mainder, mostly on billing shape. Recruitee bills on plan plus your company headcount with a twelve month commitment, and an agency's headcount has nothing to do with its placement volume. Add that outbound is where agencies live and their extension cannot reach LinkedIn, and the case gets clearer. The exception is an agency whose differentiator is branded careers pages per client, where CareersHub is worth the awkward billing.
